In this newspaper they haven't chosen a 'pretty' or 'flattering' photo of her on the front of the newspaper, they have also called her 'Mrs' which is quite patronizing and is informal as the newspaper hasn't used her full proper name, they have just called her 'Mrs U-turn' which then also gives her a negative representation because it's basically saying that she goes back on what she says a lot of the time and the words 'climbdown' and 'flip - flops' and this means that she tends to go back on herself hence the 'latest climbdown' also which means she does it again and again.  The words that are used can be shown as if she is weak and isn't capable of making decisions because she is a female and she doesn't have the power.

The daily mail is a right wing newspaper and the title has positive connotations to it, right wing parties like the conservatives and UKIP supported the bombing of Syria, hence why the newspaper has positive connotations to it.  On the other hand, the independent is centre but is edging towards left wing as the title has negative connotations towards the bombing of Syria. Left wing parties like Labour and Liberal Democrats were against the bombing of Syria, which is why they have negative connotations to the title.
