1. What are the uses and gratifications of Minecraft? Give specific examples of how the game entertains, help audiences identify with others and educates. The uses and gratifications of minecraft are that they have made it so that the game is interactive for the audience and the primary reason for that is so then they can give feedback on the game and tell the creators what they want and what needs improving etc. The way that the game entertains the audience is by making it interesting, new and fresh. The way that they have the 'words' make it so then the players can escape for the stresses of everyday life and can now pretend to be in that game and as if it's real life. American Beauty  Representation: Carolyn (wife): The way that Carolyn is represented in this film is that she takes control in the house and she's the 'man of the house' she chooses the music as she makes the most of the effort in the house. With her choice of music this could mean that she misses the past and she wants to go back as that could mean that was when the times were better for her and her family. This could mean that she has a poor life and she's in despair. When she's at home it's as if she's acting and putting on a different persona and acting as everything is fine when it isn't. Jane(daughter): The way that Jane is represented in this film is that she isn't close with her parents, she doesn't talk to them what so ever. Massive attack - unfinished sympathy Massive attack are a trip hop group, formed in 1988 in Bristol.  The group consisted of Robert 3D, Del Naja, Grant 'daddy' Marshall and formerly Andy 'Mushroom' Vowles(Mush). The group has won numerous awards throughout their career, including a Brit award. They have released five studio albums that have sold over 11 million copies worldwide. Massive attack started off as a spin off production trio in 1988, with the independently released song 'Any Love.'
