How do you intend to use the four areas of the media theoretical framework to communicate meaning and meet the requirements of your chosen brief? (approx. 400 words) The artist that I am creating is going to be a duo, their name is going to represent the type of music they’re going to produce and it’s going to stand out. The logo for the artist is going to look clean and modern, as this then represents the artist and also the type of music they listen too. The logo is going to have the same colours as the rest of the website so then they all match and makes it look simple yet modern. Dance music was declining, the clubs were closing and there was a drop in vinyl sales etc. What technological changes made an impact on dance music? What was the impact? change of digital music made it cheaper and more accessible for everyone List some of the traditional DJs interviewed. What do you know about them? Do some research? fatboy slim - had many records which brough 'dance' music to the mainstream  sub focus - more modern musician who has been releasing records since 2003 - when digital music came out What were the seen as the traditional genres of dance music? Teenagers spend 40 days a year looking at their mobile phones. In this article they use negative words about the teenagers, the most popular one is 'addictive' or 'addicted' and then that shortly follows with the word phone. probably the most positive word in the article is 'London came last with 37 days', this is the most positive word in the article as the rest is negative and saying how every teenager spends over 2 hours on their phone and that they're 'glued' to their phone. This article shows us what adults think about us and how much time we spend on our phones, these attitudes are not fair and they're not always true as no every teenager spends that much time on their phone and with this they are using one big stereotype that teenagers can't live without their phone and if they are without it then they have anxiety.
