How do you intend to use the four areas of the media theoretical framework to communicate meaning and meet the requirements of your chosen brief? (approx. 400 words) The artist that I am creating is going to be a duo, their name is going to represent the type of music they’re going to produce and it’s going to stand out. The logo for the artist is going to look clean and modern, as this then represents the artist and also the type of music they listen too. The logo is going to have the same colours as the rest of the website so then they all match and makes it look simple yet modern. The duo is in their teens so they can relate to the younger audience, the music video is also going to have a young look to it, but also still make it mature for the younger people. The video is set on the streets of LA of what it looks like and it has a very summery mise-en-scene which helps add that dance music feel to the music video. In this newspaper they haven't chosen a 'pretty' or 'flattering' photo of her on the front of the newspaper, they have also called her 'Mrs' which is quite patronizing and is informal as the newspaper hasn't used her full proper name, they have just called her 'Mrs U-turn' which then also gives her a negative representation because it's basically saying that she goes back on what she says a lot of the time and the words 'climbdown' and 'flip - flops' and this means that she tends to go back on herself hence the 'latest climbdown' also which means she does it again and again.  The words that are used can be shown as if she is weak and isn't capable of making decisions because she is a female and she doesn't have the power.
